With the exotic animal caseload increasing each year, the need for triage and request for help of exotic animal emergencies are higher than ever. Just knowing how to administer basic supportive care and analgesia can make a big difference to their positive outcomes. By becoming familiar with some of the more common presentations of exotic animal emergencies and how to manage them will make seeing those scaley, fuzzy, or feathered emergencies less daunting for everyone. The first hour of the lecture will go over stabilization, analgesia, and initial treatments with the second hour discussing common presentations.
