Hematology- How to Better Recognize those Blood Cells!

This session will provide an overview of blood smear evaluation and recognition of blood cells involved in differentials- erythrocytes, neutrophils, bands, eosinophils, monocytes, basophils, lymphocytes, and platelets. Recognition of abnormals will be discussed as well as differentiating commonly mistaken cells (is it a mono or a lymph? a band or a seg?).
