Arthrodesis: Principles, Indications and Contraindications

There are many orthopedic injuries and conditions that necessitate fusion of the joint. This lecture aims to outline and discuss the most common injuries can be successfully treated via arthrodesis. We will further discuss those joints and injuries that can be successfully managed with a partial fusion of the joint. All material will be complimented with case example radiographs, pictures and videos where appropriate.
