The RECOVER Initiative has standardized CPR in veterinary medicine with the goal of improving outcomes. Rapid intervention and high quality CPR is the only the first step in getting the patient back home. This lecture will discuss the aftercare of successful CPR, evaluating both the human and veterinary literature.
