Abby has spent the majority of her life in veterinary medicine. She started as a kennel attendant in high school and then attended McLennan Community College to receive her AAS in Veterinary Technology and Technician License. She worked in general practice for several years before gaining employment at Texas A&M University's Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital. She then attended the University of Tennessee and received her Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner title. She spent the next several years working in Rehabilitation at the VMTH and a short time in the Clinical Skills Lab at the CVM.
She then completed Tarleton University's Bachelor in Veterinary Technology program and spent a few semesters teaching in the Veterinary Technology program at Blinn College. She spent three years serving on the Board of a local non-profit neonatal kitten rescue and has experience in trap-neuter-return, neonatal kitten care, and rescue care. Currently, she is the Virtual Care Clinic Success Team Manager for Modern Animal.
In her free time, Abby enjoys spending time outside, reading a good book, and planning adventures. Abby currently resides in College Station with her husband, two children, 2 cats, and 3 dogs.
