Dr. Alice Blue-McLendon is a clinical associate professor and veterinarian in the Department of Veterinary Physiology & Pharmacology (VTPP) at the Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences (VMBS).
She teaches animal physiology to undergraduate students and clinical correlates to first-year veterinary students. And, she is the veterinarian at the Winnie Carter Wildlife Center at the Texas A&M VMBS.
Her research interests are in the areas of assisted reproduction in non-domestic animals, including cloning, avian reproduction, and management of captive exotic animals.
She serves on the Veterinary Progress I Committee, in the Mentor Program for first-year veterinary students, is an inaugural member of the Texas A&M Aggie Honor Council, and is an advisor for the student organization Aggie Guide Dogs & Service Dogs. She is proud to be a Texas A&M Fish Camp 2003 namesake.
