Andrew Hanzlicek, DVM, MS, DACVIM (SAIM), is a veterinary internal medicine specialist with more than 15 years of professional experience in private practice, academia, and industry. Dr. Hanzlicek lectures in the pre-clinical curriculum at multiple veterinary colleges and provides continuing veterinary education around the world.
Dr. Hanzlicek’s research interests are in the areas of infectious disease, hematology, and whole blood coagulation. Working in small animal referral hospitals for over 14 years, he has clinical experience in all areas of small animal internal medicine and related sub-specialties.
Dr. Hanzlicek earned a BS in Agriculture Sciences, MS in Biomedical Sciences, and DVM degree from Kansas State University. He completed post-graduate clinical training at Texas A&M University and Kansas State University.
