The Veterinary Technology Program at Dallas College, Cedar Valley (previously Cedar Valley College), was founded in 1978, as one of the first Veterinary Technology programs in the United States accredited by the AVMA. The Distance Education program (DEVTP), established in 1998, is one of the first online programs in Veterinary Technology nationwide and the only program endorsed by AAHA.
