Zoetis
Dr. Jason Doolittle was born and raised in San Jose, CA. He is a 2005 graduate from Ross University and attended the University of Minnesota for his clinical year. Dr. Doolittle practiced for nearly 10 years in Minnesota after completing a 12-month directed internship in emergency and critical care at the Animal Emergency Center (now Lakeshore Veterinary Specialists) in Glendale, WI. In 2013, he moved his family to Fort Worth, Texas to be closer to family and enjoy a less frigid winter. He was the medical director of VCA Fort Worth Animal Medical Center before joining Zoetis.
Dr. Doolittle has multiple interests in veterinary medicine. He became a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional to learn more about this topic as well as to have meaningful conversations with others in the profession. He was part of a team at Zoetis that developed a RACE-approved presentation on the topic of compassion fatigue.
A lifelong learner, Dr. Doolittle completed a master’s degree in organizational leadership in December 2022.
Dr. Doolittle is an amateur woodworker and probably spends too much time deciding which stain is the best for a given project. (His favorite projects are jewelry boxes.) He is married to Rebecca and has three children, Dallin, Russell, and Spencer. Rebecca is a dentist (the humankind) and a Major in the Air National Guard in Texas.
