Dr. Lauren Russell received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Atlantic Veterinary College in 2014. Following graduation she completed a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital in San Diego, California. She joined the Texas A&M Veterinary Large Animal Clinical Sciences Department in 2015 as a Veterinary Resident in Radiology. In 2018 she achieved board certification and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) and joined the faculty at Texas A&M as a Clinical Assistant Professor in Radiology. In 2020 Dr. Russell achieved double board certification becoming a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Radiology – Equine Diagnostic Imaging. Dr. Russell works as a clinical radiologist in the Small and Large Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospitals, interpreting radiographs, ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and nuclear scintigraphy studies and training radiology residents and veterinary students in diagnostic imaging.
