After graduation from University of WIsconsin-Madison, Dr. Antinoff completed a small animal rotating internship and a residency in exotic pet medicine at the Animal Medical Center in New York. She then established the exotics department at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists, the first program within a specialty hospital in the country. She has lectured nationally and internationally, served on several editorial boards, and has authored chapters in textbooks. She is currently in practice at Texas Avian & Exotic Hospital, where she is the medical director and continues to mentor interns, residents and students in exotic pet medicine and surgery.
