Paula Plummer, LVT, VTS(ECC, SAIM, CP-fe)

Credentialed Veterinary Technician
Texas A&M University VMTH

Paula has been at Texas A&M University Veterinary Teaching Hospital since 2007. She currently trains new staff for the Texas A&M University Teaching Hospital. She graduated from Murray State College in Tishomingo, OK, and has been credentialed since 2000. In 2011 she received her veterinary technician specialty in emergency and critical care and in 2014 she received her second VTS in small animal internal medicine. She is one of three organizing committee members for the new AVTCP-Feline VTS. Paula has spent most of her career in academia teaching veterinary students clinical skills which will help them be better patient advocates when they graduate. Outside of work, Paula has authored multiple articles, book chapters and is working on the new Feline Medicine for Veterinary Technicians textbook as well as being a guest lecturer and lab instructor.
