Dr. Jay Griffin graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After completing a small animal rotating internship at the University of Tennessee, he worked as an emergency veterinarian for two years. He completed his radiology residency at Texas A&M University in 2010 and attained American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR) board certification shortly thereafter. He attained board certification in the ACVR subspecialty of Equine Diagnostic Imaging in 2019. Dr. Griffin is currently a Professor at Texas A&M University. He has contributed to the training of over 30 radiology residents and thousands of veterinary students. His clinical interests include neuroradiology (CT and MRI), radiography and ultrasonography. His research aims to describe imaging findings in important diseases, analyze accuracy and agreement of imaging tests, and develop imaging-based biomarkers.
