Large Animal Anesthesia Technician
Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital
Alexis began her veterinary journey in 2015 as a volunteer at an equine hospital, quickly turning this opportunity into a full-time role in equine emergency medicine. It was here that she developed an interest in large animal anesthesia. After becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) in 2019, she moved to Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital to further her knowlege in anesthesia. Alexis made her speaking debut at the Southwest Veterinary Symposium (SWVS) in 2022, thanks to her involvement in the Technician Case Report Challenge. She's currently working towards a Veterinary Technician Specialty (VTS) in Anesthesia, deepening her knowledge and skills in her chosen field.
