CANCELLED: Disaster Response for Vets and Techs: Understanding Risk, and Preparing Yourself and Your Practice for the Unthinkable

Disaster response starts with preparing yourself, your practice and your community for the worst day. Being prepared requires understanding the risks around you, developing a plan, and ultimately implementing and practicing the plan. This session will provide the learner with basic skills of understanding what risk analysis is, how to develop a personal and practice plan, and why having those skills and plans in place are essential before taking the next step: responding to disaster.
