CANCELLED: Disaster Response: Self Care and Critical Incident Stress and the Importance of Medical Records and Data Management in All of This

The last session will cover the critical need for care record keeping, critical data collection (to help ensure animals are reunited with owners) - a process that is critical for successful re-unification of animals with owners. The second focus will be on the essential role of self care in the entire process from start to finish and after you return home in healthy recovery. Disaster response is stressful for everyone - even the most seasoned responders must attend to this important aspect of response, and be mindful of the need to know yourself and understand where and how to get help and decompress after a deployment.
