Better Living Through Chemistry - Chemical Restraint for Canine Patients

Fearful and fractious patients will benefit from chemical assistance both before and during their veterinary visits. This fourth session will discuss oral premedication options to reduce anxiety and to provide sedation for fearful and/or fractious dogs. Injectable chemical restraint protocols as far as drug choice, doses, and best means of administration will also be discussed.
